Need Help Please - Wiring from Rear Bumper or Spoiler Into Taillight Area

Searched but couldn't find a specific answer on this.

I'm looking to mount a backup camera in or near the rear bumper and need to get the wiring into the driver's side taillight area. I looked around under the back end and saw one big sealed grommet where it looks like the trailer wiring goes into the body. Is there another way? I don't want to drill through that grommet unless it's the only option.

An alternative would be to mount the cam in the spoiler but I can't figure out a way to get the wiring through the conduit from the spoiler to the body, even after taking off the spoiler.

Feels like I'm missing something in one or both of these spots. Any insight would be much appreciated.

I mounted my camera in the spoiler & was able to run the wiring through the existing rubber conduit. Don't remember it being easy but got it done. I may have taken apart a connector on one end of the camera wiring? I like the view I get with the camera in the spoiler for lining up a trailer.

Thanks for responding. Did you pull off the conduit or snake the wires through with it in place? It would definitely be easier if I could pull it off but I don't want to break the fastener than holds it in place.

Bluesky 07, I think took the rubber boot off & ran the wires through. The boot on the left side by the way, not the center.

Update: I mounted the camera on the bottom of the bumper. Ran the wiring through flexible plastic mill conduit and zip tied it to the trailer wiring. The rubber grommet entering the body is under the driver's side cargo tie-down ring panel near the tailgate. The grommet pulls out easily, so I used an Xacto knife to slice a small slit in the grommet and fed through the conduit. If you keep the opening small enough, it's tight against the conduit but I used some sealer to be on the safe side.
