need help please!

hey im new to this site and i needed major help.

my friend has a '94 4runner and everything worked fine only thing is the frame is bent or something. and i was actually looking for a '90-'96 model for my son.so what im asking is would i be able to swap parts if needed? (i.e. if a part breaks from my sons 4runner can i use parts from my friends '94 to replace the one in my sons car if its a different year model?)

sorry if im confusing you to be more clear can i swap parts from my friends '94 4runner to a '90,'91,'92,'93,'95, or '96?

Yes, 2nd gen is 90-95.

The '94 parts won't work on a '96 runner though. I know the trucks went to the next gen in 95.5 but I'm not sure about the runners. As long as it's the same body style the parts will interchange.
