Need help Removing

Hey guys, after searching high and low on the forums and on google, i came up with nothing on how to remove the dash so that i can install aftermarket cd player.

my question, how do you remove it. any links with pics or just instructions of any sort will do good.

please keep in mind i have searched and came up with nothing...so please help a T4R member out.

I know someone has posted a full write-up with pics, but I'm not finding it right now. But this one should help.
 
thanks for the reply, but i'm not looking on how to install deck. just need to know how to remove the dash. where are the screws, if any?

i bet there are write-ups, i just can't find em.

just in case, i have a 2000 4Runner.

The thread I referenced included the instructions from Partsrep. But since yours is not a 4th gen, then they probably don't apply anyway.
 
good pages but those won't help me to remove the trim around the cd player. the trim that seems to go around from the a/c controls, down pass the cd player, and even pass the ash tray, ending somewhere around the 12v outlets.

just wanna install a aftermarket deck, which is the easy part..lol. i don't know how to remove the trim.

are they just clips with no screws?

i know that's a 01, but how different can it be

the center where his CD player is. how do you remove that black trim plastic piece things.
