Guys need some help here, I'm replacing a timing belt on a 3.0 3VZE. I lined up the TDC on the crank and the driver side cam sprocket is matched up but the passanger side is about 3 teeth off. Is it as simple as removing the belt and lining up the passsanger side cam sprocket the way it's supposed to be or is there somthing I'm missing?
If it matters, '88 with 265K miles. Not sure if it's the original engine but the belt is cracked, loose and I noticed the one tensioner roller at the 8 o'clock position is sezied...guess it was due for servicing!
