Need help with a 1999-2000 4Runner, HELP ME!!!!

hi everyone, first post, im 15 and i am going to be buying a car in summer sometime and i really like the 4Runners. My criteria is it needs to be a 5spd manual with 4x4, and somewhere in the range of 140k or less miles, with prefferably leather seats. I Know this is a increadibly rare find. I was wondering if when i am looking how long i will have to wait to find one within driving distance from me. I found this 4runner and i was wondering if you think i will ever find one like this ever again.

Yep, if I was looking for another 5 speed I would jump on that one and I live right here in Portland also.

The price is justified on the mileage and how much work was done to it.... He also states "The price is FIRM FIRM FIRM FIRM"

It would be hard to find another one like that...I would be all over it.

Yep, it's a rare find and I agree the price is a little high. I paid about that for my 2000 limited with not many more miles on it than that and already had those services and more done to it. But, if it's exactly what you are looking for, the price may be okay as you might have a hard time finding another one like it. Don't see many people that post a price like $8999 and say it's firm. I guess he thinks $9000 flat will scare you away. I bet if you showed up with cash in hand, he'd bend a little bit.

That price is not high at all. I'd venture to say not high enough. He could easily get closer to 10k if he wanted.

Read the buyers guide in the sticky section, it will tell you all the stuff you need to know and check for.

If this thing checks out, then I agree with ripcord, that is a pretty low price for the NW market. The NW and CO are high price markets for these things, so I think he could probably get 10k for it too.

That is one good deal. Like 4-Ripcord stated, the owner could be asking for more. Why he would want a Subie over that though is beyond me.
