Need help with Rays Gramlights 57DR-X 17x8.5 -10 Offset

I have the opportunity to buy a set of Rays Gramlights 57DR-X 6x139.7
17x8.5 -10 Offset. My dilemma, is that I use my 4R daily and also use it for long highway trips with the family and I want the ride to be very comfortable. I know a lot has to do with the tires but I also want my 4R to look somewhat stock. I was planning to buy the Bridgestone Alenza Plus 265/70/17 as I had them before and love them. I don't want as aggressive look whatsoever with this rims as they are -10 offset but I haven't seen any 4R with these rims/tires configuration to judge fairly and pull the trigger on the rims. Some people have said they will stick out a lot and some has said they will look flush with the 4R, very confusing.

Very hard decision and I don't want this opportunity to pass me by. Any help will definitely be appreciated and if you can post any pics will be much better as well.

If you want to appear stock, and desire a comfortable ride, then why are you changing wheels? Don't you think Toyota already chose the most comfortable, fuel efficient wheel/tire package already?

Anyway, yes, the offset will make it look more aggressive. But then the highway tread tire will make it look silly.

Here's my truck on 17x9 -10 offset, notice how the tires poke out past the fender, effectively making the track width wider. You'll basically have that, except a highway tread tire on your proposed setup.

Understood. However the OEM wheels are very heavy and not so much "fuel efficient" in comparison to the Rays wheels in which they are very light. I don't see any picture as reference(?) Thanks for the input!

You will be fine with -10 offset, you won’t notice any degradation in your daily drive and a lot of people feel -10 should have been the offset oem rims should have came with.

U don’t see a lot of -10 because people jump to -38s or put spacers on their stock wheels.

Your ride and mileage will be more indicative about the tires you choose and the weight and width of the tire not so much the rim unless u go nuts which you aren’t by the sound of it, so get what your heart desires.

I have 8.5 -10 with stock size KO2
Sits perfectly flush with fenders.

I’m failing to see how this is about “efficiency.” I went with 64 lb 285s, a lift, and a roof rack and lost about 1 mpg. I doubt going to a lighter wheel will really improve mpg. Even if it does, let’s do the math. Assuming 15,000 mi/year, avg price of fuel according to google of $3.71/gal, a generous 1 mpg increase (17 vs 16 mpg), $2,400 for the set of wheels not including mounting and balancing, you will save $205/year. It will take you almost 12 years to break even. Add in mounting and balancing and you tack on a year. Also -10 will barely stick out.
