Need help with Tundra brake upgrade

Hello! Trying to do the Tundra brake upgrade but need the dealer part numbers for the 199mm oem brake pads and Brake pad retaining pins. Dealership clueless without VIN number. Thanks. (Ordered 2001 Tundra rotors and calipers)

They can order the right calipers but not the pads??? I guess the calipers don't come with the pins or pads, either? Local parts store for the win!

Just a heads up, I've been using ToyoDIY for a few years and have found the part numbers they show are often wrong or out of date. I've tried to order parts from my dealer with numbers from the site and they come up with nothing. Still an excellent site for reference, especially if you have an old login like mine for 'innercircle' access.

Well I got the calipers at Autozone and ordered Brenbo rotors online. The dealership was no help at all. Maybe I'll go to a diffrent Toyota dealership and see what happens! If I can't get oem pads, what other brands are recomended?

why do you want JDM/OEM pads...? is there something about paying dealership prices that just has you gitty? i have always used NAPA premium gold pads, its a semi metalic pad and works just fine

Just trying to get quality parts! Got the pads from dealership today! I was thinking last night how when some people sell their vehicle online they include their Vin#. So I typed in "2001 Tundra Vin#" in search and got hundreds of Vin#'s:thumb3: Part # for 199mm pads is: 04465-0c012. (I think!) (haven't put them on yet) I'll try the Napa brake pads next time. Thanks!
