Need help with Wheel Studs

Ok, I was an idiot the other day and managed to strip the threads off one of my front Wheel studs with an impact wrench and a cross-threaded lug nut.

Now, I'm trying to find replacement parts and was wondering if there is any reason why I couldn't put the longer rear studs on the front. I'd like the extra threading to give more purchase to the lug nuts since I have aftermarket rims and lugs (thanks to a previous owner).

I was looking at the following:
Front Stud: Febest - Toyota Lug Nut Wheel - OEM: 90942-02049
Back Stud: Febest - Toyota Lug Nut Wheel - OEM: 90942-02052

I'm not really worried about the studs. What's been giving headaches is finding lug nuts, two of mine went missing at some point in the last three weeks, and the lugs are a type that no local parts store has ever seen

Ok, i thought it was studs you were after because the links you posted were of new studs.
So you cant find OE. lug nuts?

The question was about studs. I wasn't thinking when I wrote the previous response.
From what I've been able to test OE lug nuts won't fit my aftermarket rims, hence the headache

Take the Lug to a Wheel shop. They should have what you're looking for. If not, then just put normal studs and lugs back on.

You can use the longer rears for the fronts. I've done the same on my previous Tundra and Scion for the same reason,more thread engagement with aftermarket lug nuts and wheels.

I also suggest looking up the dimensions of the 4Runner studs and compare them to 80 Series Landcruiser rears. I actually used those since they were even longer than the factory rears of both trucks,not sure if the knurled end of the 4Runner studs are the same diameter as LC's though.

And post pics of these aftermarket lugs,I bet you can get them through Summit or Jegs

Castaway has it right. Those are meant for toyotas or other vehicles with shorts studs and after market wheels. They are the "ET" style lugs.

I think those are Extended thread lug nuts.
