Need Help

Hello, I'm having problems with my 3rd Gen, I would try to start it and it would hesitate, so when i slowly pressed on the accelerator the motor would rev, but when I let it go to idle, it would stop and battery sign and check engine lights would pop up.

anyone know what it could be?

checked whatever I can see, doesn't look like any are leaking

whens the last time you have done the basic tune up items? i would look again at the intake between the MAF and throttle body, anything loose or ripped would cause that.

check the electrical. if you have a bad alternator your power supply will run low and the fuel injection system will fail to keep the vehicle running. I bet you can restart without a problem too. It doesnt kill the battery just doesnt have enough juice to run the FI. I also had a similar problem on a camry. People recommended sensors and other things. The battery light is probably your biggest clue. It cant hurt to check it any car store will put it on a tester and tell you.

if it was a charging problem the battery light would be on while its running, From what the OP said, it kicks on when the engine dies, which is normal.
