Need help...

What year did 4runner introduce the "cabin" air filter? I have a 2002 and wanted to check this filter and/or replace it. I've looked for filters online and they all start with 2003 and up. I've combed the internet with zero luck.

So now I'm assuming 2002 models and older were not blessed with filtering our cabin air. Is this true?

Any experts out there know for sure?

You are correct in assuming that you do not have a cabin air filter.
