need help

hey guys nice to cyber meet all of you.i just purchased my first 4runner.got a 98' with 170k and no rust for $2700 in ohio.didnt do bad on price for it being a limited but it does need a little tlc to bring up to 100%.it needs a cd player.the one in it sniffs the cd and then spits it rite out.so i found this one on craigslist.will it work if my original one was the cd cassette 56808 panasonic model?here is link http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/1536849993.html thanks guys.

I don't think that stereo will physically fit. You need to get one from the '96 to '02 vintage.

Buy a $100 pioneer one that come ipod wire. Mine works great.
