I'm trying to figure out how to fix my wife's '04 4runner. The display under the radio that contains the time, outside temp, inside temp, etc doesn't light up anymore. All the info is still displayed but night time renders the panel useless unless we turn on the dome light. Also, it didn't happen instantly. Half of the panel stopped lighting at first, then a few months later the other half stopped. I've checked EVERY fuse in both boxes. No luck there.
Not sure where to go from here. I'm not too familiar with Toyotas. I own a Jeep and I know I couldn't fix half of the problems without the JK forum so I'm reaching out to T4R.org for help!!
Also, I've seen some '04 4runners with bigger tire/wheel combo's(my wife's has stock). I think they look awesome and I'm trying to convince her to upgrade. What's the largest tire/wheel combo you can go to without a lift?
