You will have a better bearing if you find one made in japan not chinese junk. Check out rockauto.com.

BCA & NSK both are $125 for a pair. Dont go on price

Too big of a job to lollygag with cheap parts. OEM or OEM supplier only, replace all seals, retainers, and snap rings as well. If you can't afford that then I'd get a good used axle shaft assembly on ebay.

Can you press these on yourself? Thats the limiting factor for me. I will consider getting the complete axle when/if mine go:

It takes a 20 ton press to get the bearings on and off. Harbor freight has the press for <$200. The special tool is on ebay <$100. OEM is just overpriced parts. I have done this on my ‘07 FJC and there are threads to DIY it. But the dealership will charge $1500/side. A mechanic would charge $800/side. Or you can do it, buy all the tools, learn something fun and save $1000-$2000

Mav, are you only doing front or front and rear?

For both of my 4Runner's on 35's, the previous being on LT, I didn't have any issues with the company called TRQ. My current ones from them are holding up nicely, but I've only had to replace the front!
