Ok, I searched and searched, looked through the thread on here and cant find my answer anywhere! dont believe me look for yourself cause im about pulling what hair i have left out.

i own a 96 limited, under the drivers seat i have a black box rs3000 vip security system, on the center console under the window switch i have toyota security with red blinking light. now the answer I am seeking, every single key fob i find online is the BAB237131-022. The black box fcc number under my seat is BAB237000-129. I can not find a key fob with this fcc I.D # WTF is going on:cry2:

i can find key fobs all over with these rs i.d numbers

HYQ12BBX

BAB 237131-022

I read That the I.D number on my vehicle needs to match the key fobs I.D number

The problem is my I.D number is BAB 237000-129 (i can not find a fob with this I.d )

So My question is will any Rs3000 remote work with both BAB#s

Neither of those links answer my question. I read online that the fcc id# on my box and the key fob need to match to work, the problem is that all the key fobs i find is not the right I.D# as my box i cant find the right one anywhere. or are all rs3000 remotes compatible

Well, I took MY time to research for YOU. Your comment doesn't seem too appreciative considering. Next time I won't waste my time.:boxer:

I really was not intending to be ignorant, Sorry it came off that way. There's a lot of threads on this subject and not one of them answered what i was asking or gave me a answer. The links you found for me would help me setup a key fob or show me where to buy one, but My post was not asking where to buy one or how to use one, I am trying to find the right key fob with the I.d number i have so I dont waste money on the wrong one. Everyone on this forum is so short fused, Ill figure it out
