Need some help with my battery

I picked up a 96 v6 4x4 about a month ago and slowly in the process of cleaning her up. I just did the Deckplate mod today(great btw) and noticed that my battery terminal was in dire need of some TLC. There is major corrosion on the terminals and posts. I went to unbolt the positive side and the metal nearly tore off. My question is, how do I go about replacing this wire? I went to autozone and realized that the sell wires but not really the kind that apply to our vehicles, the positive terminal looks like its hooked up to about 4 other things. Any and all help would be very much appreciated. Oooh and ive been lurking for a few weeks now and love the site. Pics to come! Thanks everyone. (sorry this got so long)

possibly a dealer only item

That sounds like a dealer only supplied item.

If you can wait, use TRD parts of Dallas for good prices on Toyota parts.

If you can't- you will have to hit up the local stealership to get it for you.

a picture may help us help you further......

Are you sure you need to replace the wires? If the corrosion hasn't traveled up the wires then you should just need to replace the terminals. I'm actually going to do this myself tomorrow afternoon.

All you need to do is trim the terminal from the existing wire using some heavy duty wire cutters or a dremel (if you're careful), strip some of the sheathing back and then install some new terminals. Don't trim too much or you really WILL need new cables.

If you decide that you still need to replace the cables, I've included a link below to parts at Kragen that should work for you:
