Need some help with my grille guard...

Alright guys, I took it to my friend's dad who used to work at a car shop. The only thing we have come up with is that it doesn't fit a fat lip bumper, but fits the 98 and lower bumpers. Seems logicial right?

the one u have should fit the fat lip bumper... there is room for it from wat i can see! let me go get pics right now.

So I just went to mock it up again, took some pics:



So, for some reason it just won't get any higher. It's on the valence at the bottom, I was afraid I had lifted to high with the jack and may have cracked it actually haha.

hmmm wtf i guess its not meant for a 4runner... u could always cut small slits into the bumper at the bottom so that u can get the height that ur looking for.

Well, maybe its one of those blessings in disguise. Turn around and sell it and put the money towards a full replcement bumper

Don't tempt me man I'd LOVE an ARB or Savage, but I'm not sure I'll keep this Runner. It's a stock 2.7 and I'm trying to sell it and get a Limited with 4 wheel drive so I can crawl some haha. Then we can talk about serious mods, but not on this one

hate to break it to ya..but i dont think that is for a 4runner. at least not a 3rd gen that u have...just look at those light guards...wayyyy too big for 4runner lights. and the bumper line up doesnt really match in any way.

i guess u can sell it back for 80
