Need some help

The rear door (tailgate) on my 1993 4runner will not open and the window wont roll down what could be wrong and how do I go about fixing it…any feedback is appreciated thanks!

Pull the cover off the interior part of your tailgate and test to see if you are getting power to your motor. I would test the motor after that.

First make sure the rear wiper is fully parked, there's an interlock to prevent window operation while it's going.
