Need Some help

Hello everyone, I would like to thank all of you for your insight, and knowledge. I have been looking for a Toyota pickup for 4 runner, and after reading all you input I chose a 1995 4 runner with 163K miles.
This is my first 4 runner & I hope I like it. I do have one question for you. This weekend I drove about 500 miles (my first trip of any distance), after starting out my oil pressure gauge was right in the middle. After about 3 hours of driving I saw my oil pressure slowly dropping. When I pulled off the interstate I the pressure would drop below a 1/8, when I drive it would come up to just below 1/2.
Anyone have this happen before?

Oil pressure varies with RPMs.

Did you check your oil level ?

It also varies with temp depending on the type of oil. Full synthetic is less affected. I have chosen to run FS but thats just my preference after a bit of research the search works really good there is a lot of good info on the different oils.

As you read above this is normal for your t4r with a 3.0
Mine does the very same thing. Now that it is winter it shows it even more with the oil temp raising as I drive the car.
