Hi,

I've been lurking around for a while. Have a 2000 4runner sr5,
just got new rims and tires. My 4runner came with 265-70-16
tires. new tires are general grabber at2 same size as the old. Rims are
16x8 my old rims are stock 16x7.Question is am I going to need spacers?
this setup looks about an inch or so wider and taller. This is a stock runner
thanks in advance.

Hi Len. The folks who can answer this are probably going to need some more specs about the wheels you bought in order to answer the question. Primarily backspacing / offset.

Another "thing" to consider with wheel fitment is whether or not you have now or will be buying in the future the Tundra brakes.

Probably not unless you are rubbing your upper control arm or if you have issues rubbing then maybe but you should be fine.:thumb3:

Ah perhaps I misread - @Len are you saying you're already running these? If so, and you notice no rubbing and it's not hitting the calipers... you should be set. If it's checking all of those boxes then the difference in backspacing is probably not enough to accelerate bearing (etc) wear dramatically.

Sorry for the wild goose chase.
