Need some pro help!! Shocks, Shocks, Shocks..

Awesome, thanks! I called up wheelers offroad and used the setup you recommended ;) I also found out that they are located about an 1.5hrs away from me, so I'll have the parts pretty fast! Thanks again for your help, and answering all my questions. I feel like I should pay you haha

What's your complete order list? You just might need to pay me. lol! I'm exited for you.
Nice Ride! But You got some sag my friend! lol

I dont care for my OME rears. I would go with the bilsteins instead. Spend the little extra and get the 3 inch lift coils as well. You will be glad you did whether you wheel it or not. It will just look better. My two cents

not trying to steal a thread or anything but what 3 inch lift coils?

My order list:
Bilstein 5125's shock up front
Kept the front coil that was already on their
OME 60028 NitroCharger Sport Rear shock
OME 890 rear coil set
All replacement bushing and sway arms parts. Not reusing any of the old stuff
Came to $645

Sounds Good!
The Bilsteins are fronts right? Make sure they are fronts. lol

Yep, they are fronts. That's what the guy said, and I reiterated what he said a few time to make sure haha! God, I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight, way to excited....

Keep in touch and keep us updated with pictures. Have you Started a build thread yet? I would love to read up on your ride.

I have not started a build thread yet, I've been wanting to but I don't know my way around the site very good right now. I'm trying to learn the ins/outs. I always have issues with uploading images too, because you have to make them so small. I'll try to start it this weekend. Probably have to look at some tutorials on the correct way to post my build thread like everyone else does.

You guys are getting a bit ahead of yourselves. OP, if you're going to go with 5100's, you can ditch your spacers and just set the Bilsteins on the top notch with your stock springs.
For the rear, go with the 890 springs and a set of stock LandCruiser rear shocks. Monroe's work well and they're like $60 a pair. Or you could spend a little more and get the Tokico's. Either will work well.

He's already placed his order lol. We talked about his setup and he is happy.

Like everything but your rear shock choice. You're going to hate the ride with those shocks. If you can, cancel the order on them.

Why are they so bad, what should I have gotten? I think it may be to late, but I can call tomorrow and check.

Which OEM coils would you recommend I get for the rear? Are the KYB's pretty good for on/off road, I've never heard of them? If you send me the link to all the parts you would get that would be perfect. I already checked out the first two links you sent me. The nose of my truck doesn't point up or even look bad at all, you can just barely see the sag. But I would like to lift the back 3 Inches, that would look sweet. So which ones would be good for that?
Thanks

Kyb.. check out importrp.com for the cheapest price

I'd like to jump in with a question.

I've never replaced or serviced my 2002 Sport suspension. Currently, my left-rear sags about 1/2". I want to replace the suspension with new shocks/struts and coils. My off-road use is very minimal so a lift kit is not needed.

Bilstein's website recommends the 4600 series. 24-188234 in the front and 24-024518 in the rear. Are these good?

As for new coils, I have NO idea what to look for. Many threads talk about the LandCruiser coils but that seems to be for those wanting to add lift kits.

If there is another thread covering this, please let me know. I've been searching for a while without any luck.

Thanks, -Lee

BILSTEIN CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!! Bilstein does not provide front bushings or washers and expects you to use your old worn out crap. They don't help you find nor will they sell you the needed parts. They sell a high end price wise shock....but don't provide the needed parts a $20 shock includes. Then you do a little research and they don't stand behind their products and have more negative warranty coverage than positive. AGAIN BILSTEIN SUCKS...ANY OTHER BRAND IS A BETTER VALUE.
