Need Some Quick Advice Please!!

I'm going somewhere later that is going to require lots of driving and my truck just developed a coolant leak.

It's a 93 V6 and the only spot I could see it coming from was the lower radiator hose. There are 2 hoses but mine is leaking from the passenger side one. It's dripping down the skidplate in a continous drop even with the engine off.

I already tightened it a week ago because it was leaking, but it started again. If I keep tightening it, it will just strip out.

What the hell should I do?

Replace the hose would be the best option but you could try one of those radiator leak stop products. I've had some luck with the metallic looking powder that you dump into the radiator. That's not usually a permanent fix though & there's always the possibility that stuff will clog-up your radiator. Another option might be to try a different brand of hose clamp or maybe try cutting a little off the end of the leaking hose. That might work if its split or mangled due to over tightening. Most likely a water pump. Carry some black table pepper with you. It does wonders on small leaks and does not clog the radiator or heater cores. Use about 4-6 tablespoons and make sure you put it in the radiator and not the overflow tank. Actually before you leak put some in.
