Need to get rid of one

I have a 88 runner with the 22re and a 91 runner with the 3.0. The old one has a 3 inch body lift and a soft top the 91 is 4 door there is about 50000 km in the difference in them.

I am trying to decide what one would be better to keep and mod.

Tho the '91 would match my '90 better...but hey, you said you wanna get rid of one, sounds good to me!

Seriously tho, which one do you drive more?
Why are you getting rid of one?
Which one suits your needs better?

I checked out your pics; The '88 is beautiful! The 91 is nice too, but there is just something about the older iron I like too.

Both have similar suspensions, so it is just which you like better....but I'd keep them both: my wife and I "share" our '90. (Meaning: She drives it and occasionally I steal it to go for a breif joyride before I have to sleep on the couch!)

Personally I'd keep the 88 with the more reliable 22re. But really it all comes down to in the end is which one you enjoy having more. The 4 door or the Convertable.

i'm interested

hey do you still have that 91 4runner? i would be interested in buy it. i too have a 88 runner but im looking into moving to a 2nd generation runner. kinda the opposite of you i guess so this could work 4 us if you still have it. what would you want 4 it? also i could trade you my 88 if you wanted one to part out or something!
