Needing new tires and rims

i'm wanting new tires, but i'm not sure what's the largest size tire i can fit within the standard size wheel well. i'm not 100% opposed to a small lift to get a slightly larger tire.

and as for rims - i'm interested in some black rims with a small bit of chrome. nothing "bling bling" by any means, though. anyone recommend a good site for SUV rims? i'll find some i like but they're not made for an SUV. i guess it's a weight issue.

The largest tire you can fit without a lift is: 265/75 16 which is a 32 10.50 16. Even with a lift, the 265/75's will be the largest because of a rubbing issue with the upper a arm. To clear larger tires (such as 285/75's), you'll need wheels with 4.5" of backspacing or more, or wheel spacers.

the biggest i can get with the biggest tires i can get without getting a lift kit and without getting low profiles.

based on what emptypockets just said, i'm assuming 16" is what i'm limited to without getting a larger tire that requires a lift kit.

i don't want low profile tires, either.

I wouldn't recommend wheel spacers unless you want to start replacing ball joints.

cause i'm new and realized after i posted in the general forum that there's one specifically for my generation.

I know I sound like a broke record here cause all I ever talk about is my rims and the size of my tires but... I have 20's with 275/55/r20 tires (basically a 32x10.80) I don't have a lift and I have little if any trouble out of rubbing, get a 2 inch lift in the near future though just for sh*ts and giggles

He did say no low profile tires and I think he means he wants truck style tires no wagon wheels.
