Nerf bar help for LTD 2015

Hi all,
I need some guidance on a few product details. I know there are many threads about running boards/nerf bars, And I've combed through them for days so hopefully I'm not repeating a question.

After much reviewing, I purchased, from Amazon, Westin e-series 23-3585 black 3" nerf bars.

The photo on Amazon shows the 90 degree angle of the bars. What came was a slightly angled end. see photo. I called Westin and the guy said that these mount with a cradle for the LTD 2015 as the 90 degree curved ends can't mount that way. (I mentioned he may want to add a note on their amazon post about that although I added that to my review). Is this because of the additional skirt of the LTD?

Is there any company that makes them that curve 90 degrees? Has anyone come across this before and if so what did they end up doing? I don't want to alter anything on the car. I'd like to buy a product that is already set for this model with no additional kits I need to modify the fit.

I also purchased Genuine Toyota Accessories PT769-89110 Mudguard so I'm hoping these fit with these boards.

Thanks for any info you can provide
T

Oooh. Probably not a ton of members with the knowledge you are seeking tbh. Hopefully you figure it out or someone comes along that can help out. Most of us are running sliders and not nerf bars.

Thanks. Yea I'm on my 5th call to various manufactures, as the limited is not necessarily the easiest fit apparently. did not plan to spend half my day doing this. :ybrick:

I offroad but I'm light usage that way. so the nerf bars work fine for me.

Might have better luck with N-fabs and they look far far far better. There is a spacer kit too for them to fit directly onto the LE without any mods. I think the member RiDE is a dealer for both. Best option for 5th gen non-sliders. The other option might be the light duty ones from MetalTech. They work as a slider and step and compliment the vehicle (also available for the LE). Good thing amazon has a great return policy!

Good luck.

personally, i wouldn't recommend the n-fabs for a limited unless you are planning on cutting 5 inches off of the rocker panels. The spacer kit mentioned to make them fit an LE make them hang too low in my opinion. Just pitching my opinion in... Good Luck!

Steps are not the style i'm looking for, so N-fabs are out. It seems that unless I have a rocker panel that leaves out about 3 of the manufactures as they require them. Lund seems to be the only one that makes the curved ends that go on the LTD, but an Amazon review mentioned the brackets sit about 3 inches low which puts the step about 6 inches above the ground. Not looking for that either. Guess I may stick with the non curved Westins.

Onee I've already vetted out
Westin
Rampage
Lund
Aries
Tuff-bar
Broadfeet
Go Rhino

Thanks for the help

PM sent. I have your solution and it won't cost you a dime. :yo:

The rocker panels on the limited keep your options very limited. No pun intended. I don't think there is a company that makes a nerd bar for the limited so your options might be running boards only

What did you end up going with? Pictures?

I've got a '15 Limited and am considering something similar. Would love to see what you ended up going with.

Thanks
