Nerf bars

I'm debating whether or not to switch out the stock nerf bars/side runners on my black 06 SR5.

Basically it goes like this- I think, with the all black on black color scheme, the unbroken line of the stock SR5 ones make the car look too vertically "fat", if you know what I mean.

I've been considering several options-

1. Removing them completely (anyone have any pics of this?)

2. Replacing with the 4Runner Sport tubular ones

3. Replacing with 3rd party aftermarket ones.

Anyone have any suggestions, and, even better, pics of black 4Rs with your idea?

I would love to buy the Nerf bars off of you if you would be interested in selling them. I am getting really bored with the OEM running boards on my SR5.
