Hey all.. First off wanted to say that I got all the information for my truck from this forum. For those of you who helped answer my questions and pointed me in the right direction a big thank you!!
My build..
05 Limited. Bought it 2 years totally out of the blue. I was looking to buy a nice DD and found this at local dealer. Drove it home
Only pic in semi stock form i could find. Tinted the windows and put on Thule cargo box
First Mod was swapping out the 05 headlights for a set of 08 projectors with 6k HID in headlights and fogs. Love that the fogs on 05 are projector! Came out really nice and has been a solid mod.
After that was done did all interior lights in LED
With all white LED lights truck lit up like a space ship at night lol.
Next was tunes!! Installed the Pioneer avic-x930bt head unit. awesome upgrade.
Great unit for any one interested.
Other than some small odds and ends I basically have been driving her like that for a while during which time I knew I wanted lift / wheels / tires but didn't know enough to pull trigger until now .Thanks to this forum i ordered the Toytec 3/2 lift, Ultra Gauntlet wheels 18x9, and Duratrac 275x65x18. Badas*!!
Had to remove the running boards of coarse to give it that clean look
Not that some black wheels were on it was time to black out grill. Read all of you doing plastic dip and I tried my hand at it. Came out awesome.
After everything done and installed....
Tires flush with body
So that's about it. Def going to keep modding but subtle stuff. Nothing crazy. I am shopping for a nice front skid plate the stock one had to go to clear the wheels. There was definitely some trimming that needed to get done for rubbing issues but nothing I can't live with.
