Ok, I need some help. 1986 4runner has had a problem with this in the past, but you can usually just shift it down into gear and then very quickly throw it into park and then it will start up with a turn of the key.
I've been gone on vacation for a while and now it will not start up. I don't think it is the battery because the stereo has got a lot of volume and the alarm definately works.
I don't have a repair manual with me and few tools at this location so what I can do is limited.
Any suggestions? I've heard that simply cleaning the switch will help, but I don't know the location of this switch and all that.
