Neutral Start Switch Removal?

Before i get flamed, i'd just like to say that I initially mistook the transfer position switch for the neutral start switch. When i tried to remove the nut that holds switch to the transmission (not the adjustment bolt), it twisted all the way off. Apparently part of it was welded to the linkage.

That is why i'm asking how to remove the neutral start switch because I don't want to torque off another bolt.

Is there a special way to remove the neutral start switch? The stud that holds it to the transmission doesn't look like it's a left handed thread. also, how much tranny fluid should I expect to pour out of the hold where the switch is?

Thanks in advance. I really just don't want to break off any more bolts

nevermind, my junkyard trip taught me that I was just really unlucky and got the only studs that were really really rusty.
