Hi everyone,
Finally I bought my 2005 SR5 4x4. I really appreciate all of you in this forum who had given your valuable comments about this truck. So far, I have 150 miles on it already. It feels great on the road.
Here are something I noticed when I am driving on the road since I owned it.
1. On top of the front driver window, I heard rattling noise. I found that there was a screw on the roof cross bar that was loose. I have tightened it down. hope that the problem is solved. I will need to get up on the highway again to make sure.
2. The steering alignment is off. The service department will take care of that for me this Saturday.
3. I smelt something from the engine the first day I brought the truck back home. I was not sure it is the so called "sulphur" smell. To me, it is more like a electric fuse burning smell. It is gone now after 50 miles.
One thing I want to ask the experts here. With regards to changing from H2 to H4. Are you supposed to "feel" anything indicating the 4 wheels has been engaged? I feel nothing except I see the light is on.
Overall, I like my 4Runner.
