New 3rd Gen!

After shopping the whole country for a manual 4x4, this popped up in my area last night! Drove over at 8AM and it was mine in a few hours. 2000 SR5 Sport 4x4, 5MT, 122k miles =) I'm NOT a fan of the smurf blue interior, but theres nothing I can do about it. Looking forward to some dirt/snow!

If anybody can tell me, I know the 99's had the tall springs, but I've read that some of the early 2000's did also. I can't tell, and dont' know 4r's well enough yet to know if mine does or not.

Nice looking rig. Welcome to the site. It doesn't look to me like it has the talls, but if you check out the sticky's in the 3rd gen section, there's a thread regarding FAQ's for lift, and in there is the color code for the 99 talls.

Green/red = rears
yellow/blue = drivers
pink/blue = passenger (I think, can't remember exactly)

It's a misconception that all '99s came with the tall coils and it was actually hit and miss but tall coils weren't uncommon on the '99s and all '99 Highlander/Sport models had them and then in the early part of the '00 year the tall coils were still around but became pretty rare by the middle of that year's run.
If those are stock tires @32psi and you get a ground to fender measurement a bit over 35" you should have the taller coils.

With my +1 larger tire I have a little over 36" all the way around from the ground to fender.
