a little about myself, built a handful of different trucks over the years, air bagged f150, fully caged long travel ford ranger, restored a CJ7 jeep, built a LT 4x4 DCSB '11 tacoma ( sold it because i am stupid), then got a WRX which was the biggest waste of money ever(poor judgment on a craiglist purchase), dropped 2 door tahoe.
I lived in breckenridge colorado for a bit in 2012 and went up wheelers lake trail and all the other trails about 3-4 times a week in the tacoma when it was stock and then when i put the first lift on it which was an OME lift, talk about convenient
I took the LT tacoma on a 3 month 14,000 mile road trip over the summer of 2013, every state west of the mississippi river except Hawaii(lol) Alaska, and Louisiana. probably put a few hundred off road miles on it during that trip, and put about a few thousand off road miles on it overall in the short time i owned the truck.
just recently scooped up a 2003 V8 4x4 4runner from my parents neighbor, it was owned and driven by an older lady, 56,000 miles and not a scratch on it, dealership maintained.
Picking it up friday morning since i live a few hours away and am currently borrowing my folks sequoia, so ill get some pictures put up then
will be building it up for extended travel/expedition stuff with a very minimalistic set up, 32" tires, likely just 5100's and FJ coils, Hidden winch up front, 12v fridge, sliders and build my own stealth style roof rack so that i can get up top and set up my tripod for my landscape photography.
