I definately will be getting the fronts tinted to match. As far as the wheels go, that will be a tough sell to the wife, after all - it is her vehicle...

My favorite mod would be the bikini model on top though. I'm SURE she wouldn't go for that.

Nice 4Runner!! Great choice..

Sorry to be nitpicky, but the 4R doesn't have HIDs.. At least from how I understood it, they have to be Xenon's to be considered HIDs, or at least the xenon gas is what classifies it as high intensity.

Yes, sorry, you are correct. They are halogen projector lamps.

Nice 4runner! I don't know why a few members on here does not like the '06 cosmetic changes...i love it!

I'm not a big fan of the black roof rack and running boards on all models. Maybe I'm biased because mine are silver, but I think silver looks better on anything other than a black 4Runner. I also have mixed feelings about the changes to the front end. On the Salsa and lighter colors the front doesn't look too bad but with dark colors the front end doesn't seem to have any definition to it, especially the lower half.

I never thought I'd say this, since I thought the silver/gold center section below the grill was kind of cheezy when I first saw it, but the monochrome look is kind of bland for most dark colors.

On the other hand, I really like the round wheel wells on the 06's and think Toyota should adopt them for all of their trucks. They look good on the 4Runner and would improve the look of the Tacoma tremendously. Now, if they would only make the wheel well openings big enough for some 33 inch tires without mods.
