New 4runner owner from GA

Well, I bought my first 4runner a 2000 Limited 4wd with 170,000 miles. I bought it mainly for driving around Atlanta for work since my 2500HD is hard to park (especially in parking decks). I did have an 05 Tacoma that i drove around but sold it earlier this year, I loved the Tacoma. I would really like modify this 4runner with a lift and some larger tires but I will have to do some reading to see how tall it would be, most parking decks have signs saying 6'8" height. Anyway I will do some reading and thanks in advance for any input and advice. So far I have removed all of the chrome accessories.

Not to thread jack, but If we could get a couple people, maybe we could get a meet organized to check out everybodys ride!

Hey!! I'm in Dekalb county. Wish I culd come for a meet but going to Indiana Monday. Fu*^! lol. Nice to see other in ATL, I felt kind alone lol.

Welcome Pillguy, and where at in Roswell? I've spent a lot of time over off old alabama at big creek mountain bike park. Also, spent a lot time over off riverside drive at ACE sand company.

Welcome.

I like the after pic way better, the 4Runner looks much cleaner that way. Did you re-mount the driving lights after the brush gaurd was gone?

Nice taco too, looks like a silver version of my black sand pearl.

Welcome aboard!

Yeah I didn't care about all the chrome stuff. I didn't remount the lights because one of the lens is cracked. I need new tires and I am looking at 265/75/16. I wouldn't mind lifting it 3" and putting on some 285's but I need it to fit into parking decks and they are usually 6'8". I am also looking for some fj cruiser trd wheels.

None of you local guys are interested in the brush guard, step bars, tail light guards or bike rack that I took off of it?

@Factory Ride - It is a Yakima bike rack, it is just the pieces that run from front to back to mount the bike on. It is missing one of the pieces that the front of the bike mounts to, it's not broken just missing.

@RunninInGA - Chrome brush guard, tail light guards and step bars.

I just want the stuff to not sit on my back patio, if you want it it is yours.
