Hi just got a 2000 Limited. Couple of things. I am going to take it in for a oil change/tune up. I don't think the radiator has been replaced. Should I go ahead and ask them to do this as well. Should it be an OEM radiator? Any other things that are relatively cheap I should get done, it has 155,000 miles. Second what is the best way to get a used brake light? New or used? Anyone on here have one?

my man from Lawrence kansas!

welcome to the page. why not do your own tune up or oil change at least?

id hold off on the radiator for a bit. just own it for a bit longer. get more comfortable with the truck and what it might need (very little)

im a huge advocate of doing things yourself.

look in the classified section. tons of guys parting out their trucks. look there for the brake light.

Radiator: Save your money and buy an external transmission cooler. Google "strawberry milkshake" for more info.

Transmission: Change your transmission filter and put some new fluid in.

Thanks guys! I know it's embarrassing, but know nothing about working on cars. This may be a good one to learn on. Can I change the oil without jacking it up, I think I could fit under it...
Youtube videos the best way to figure some of this out?
Maybe I should drive to KC and have Shootmymime show me a thing or two...
