I just picked up a 05 tr5 4runner for my wife. It has high mileage (187000) but has been very well taking care of and I got it for a great deal. No rust, but does have tan interior so it is stained.
Future plans are
Doing a lift with coil overs and HD rear springs.
Fix all the blown interior lights
Rims n tires
Tinted windows
DVD gps for the family trips
Black interior swap,
Rear wing
And I'm sure more to come.
I live in upstate ny and love 4runne but this is my first. I will eventually take over the truck and buy her a new off road model by the end of the yr. I just need to finish my truck build for pulling. My first gas vehicle in awhile and so far very happy with power of the v6.
The wooden roof racks are gone. Getting a roof basket for it and a led bar
