New 4Runner! V8

Well guys, I looked at an '06 4Runner V8 SR5 today. I test drove it and liked it very well! Drove smooth and the power is very smooth, while shifting throughout all the gears. Plenty of power and it's quiet. Only has 85k on it.

Liked it so much, that I bought it today! It's titanium, very good shape. No dents, no scratches, and no paint chips. It's been an one owner and every service was through a Toyota dealership. I like it a lot.

Plans are to debadge, window tint, hids, better HU, amp and some subs. It doesn't have the JBL stamped anywhere inside. So, I should be good on that part. Has Michelin LTX tires on it right now with 3/4th thread on it. Plenty of life left. After they wear out, I might get some new wheels along with Nitto TG G2s, Toyo PTs, ATs, or MTs, or the new BF Goodrich KO 2s. Along with the TRD pro wheels.

Well here are the pics!

Nice! Super clean!

I live nearby and scored a 03 Limited v8, same color, about a month ago. Although, mine has almost 3x the mileage yours does. Still runs like a top, and I scored it $6k out the door.

Take good care of it, and it'll last you at least 4x that mileage. Toyota has been good to me for almost 20yrs now.

Nice ride, I have the exact same 4runner but an 05. Talking about power, mine pulls my loaded 16' trailer better than any 1/4 ton pickup I've owned.

Good find! I just got an 06 Sport V8 last week; quite the upgrade from my 2014 Tacoma in terms of power...the torque is definitely fun to play around with, and for so much car moving around, I'm way more comfortable slinging this thing thru the corners than the Taco or any other SUV I've driven recently, including the wife's 2014 T4R.

Congrats and welcome - now get to modding but don't ask too many questions, most of it's been covered it you look!

Thanks man. First thing I'm gonna do is order some WeatherTech floormats & once it gets warm add some darker tint. Then, debadge the dealership emblems.

I have the weather techs in the front and the one that goes accross for the rear seating, great product, carpet underneath still looks amazing. I did not get the one for the very back, probably should have.
