Great job and write up Brian757! I'm bookmarking your write up for when I get my sliders. Looking forward to seeing them on your rig.

Haha, I agree on the kickouts. I am not sure of their exact shape. All I figure is that it will be tucked underneath my vehicle and people will only see a portion of it. And yes, t4r4life, those are sick sliders. Are those the B.A.M.F. sliders?

great thread! thanks for sharing, BTW how long did it take for you to get the 4X sliders after payment?

Damn near 3 days. i believe I bought them online on a Tuesday and got them Friday. It was something ridiculous like that. Super quick.

Someone posted they have never seen sliders painted with bed liner. Not sure if they meant in person or not, but below is the best picture I have, at the moment, of my sliders painted with bedliner.

I went this route as I plan on taking her off road from time to time and I'll just add bedliner as needed and not worry about blending paint.

I liked the design of the BAMF for sure, however the welds on mine were a blob, splotch, or daub mess of a metal bead. Look at Junr photo, for the $ I expected alot cleaner consistence bead out of a pro shop. I'd photo mine, but there buried in my shop since the group buy.

I don't know how to weld but looking at some of the welds on my BAMF sliders, it seems as if two people worked on the welds. The person who welded them on mentioned there's no issue with them structurally, but they may not look the best. I wasn't too concerned as it's under the truck and I won't see them anymore.

Looking good! I would throw a little tape around the areas where the legs are going to be. Will make welding them much easier and far less smokey and stinky.
