Wife and I went and picked her up a 06 SR5 4x2 V8 yesterday. I think is has just about every option available on a SR5. Leather (liquicell) seats,moon roof, rear wind deflector, etc. It also has the upgrade 17" wheels with Michelin Cross Terrain tires. Does anyone have these on there 4 Runner? I was happy to see that it didn't have the dunlops that everyone seems to dispise around here? Any feedback on the Cross Terrains?

Congrats on the new 4Runner! What color did you get?

I have the 17's with the Michelin Cross Terrains and love them. They're quiet and handle fairly well. They're a big improvement over the original Bridgestone Dueler HT 840's that came with my 4Runner. I believe the Cross Terrains are the most expensive tires Toyota installs on new 4Runners.

I have the 18" Cross Terrains. It's quiet and the ride is smooth. I'm running 37psi in them. I got my truck in Feb, haven't had a chance to try out the tires in foul weather yet. I'll find out when winter rolls around heading up to the mountains, can't wait.

Congrats on the new 4Runner! What color did you get?

well we wanted or she wanted the nautical blue but there were none to be had so we had the options of black or white both 4 Runners had the same options so she decided on white and it has the taupe interior. To go with my white on gray 99 SR5.

Congrats on the new Runner. I have the Cross Terrains and absolutely love. I've towed a 5500 lb trailer with them, taken them offroad, had them in the snow and I still have over 60% tread left with 49k miles on our 4Runner.

At this rate, I'll have to replace them due to age before they run out of tread.

Congrats on the new 4Runner and welcome to the board! Michelin Cross Terrains are the best tires you can get from the factory. I had the Dunlops and they were terrible. Most important, will the wife let you mod her truck?

Most important, will the wife let you mod her truck?

Nothing major, this weekend I will install a Pioneer AVIC-D2 so she doesn't get lost along with the Ipod interface. I also plan to order the homelink garagedoor opener, and either a K/N or Amsoil airfilter. Along with the Pioneer Navi unit I'll replace all the factory speakers with either pioneer or mtx components and coaxials sometime this summer.
