Just installed new boss coil overs and have ridiculous amount of camber. I know I need alignment but is this normal? Tires squealing on many bumps and almost every corner. Did I put them in wrong? Feedback appreciated.

Not yet, planning on doing it tomorrow or early this week. Just seemed like a ridiculous amount of camber. Also toytec states u might need to pry the lower control arm down to get coil over in, seems like bs seeing as I had to strap lower control arm to my fork lift while it was on jack stands and force control arm down to get new boss coil over in. Any else have this experience? Appreciate any feedback.

Did you undo the upper ball joint whe installing? Makes it a lot easier to get the front struts in. Pull to hard and yiu will damage the control arm bushings. How much lift did you go with in the front?

No I didn't undo the upper ball joint, had no idea that was an option, toytec made no mention of that either. So you are saying there is a good chance I damaged the ball joint by pulling down so hard on control arm, and that could account for the ridiculous amount of camber? How pricey is that to fix? Should I just get alignment first and reassess then? Thanks for advice.

if its worse than this, something is wrong, otherwise there is not a problem, did you do the part where they say to get an alignment?

You don't need to undo the upper ball joint to get the coil over in. Pry down on the UCA with a long pry bar and it will go right in. Loosening the UCA and LCA bolts releases the tension on the bushings and makes it a lot easier to pry it down.

As for the camber, yes you just need an alignment. Nothing is wrong there.

Totally aware of alignment necessity just haven't done it yet, finished lift install tonight. Plan on going tomorrow or early this week. Wow mine is not worse, thanks for pic/ input. Did u drive it like that, if so how far/long? How did it steer or drive? Thinking next step is to align, throw on my 265/75/15 duratracs, and drive/wheel, let susp settle in.

Shoot didn't know about loosening the uca, lca bolts first, makes sense though, I just forced down control arm with forklift hard to barely squeeze in boss strut. It was a lil hairy. I should have researched more. Any thoughts on poss damage I did, or is this normal post lift/pre install handling.

Az running i went with the pre set 2/12 inches of lift. D farm did u drive it like that pic? If so how bad was it?? That's for responses, very helpful.

My camber and toe also looked just like this after installing my lift. completely normal, the more you lift it the more your alignment will be off.

I drove my truck around the block once with horrible vibrations and steering pulling me all other the road. After that it was straight to the alignment shop and it drives perfect now.

Thanks daniresch my baby's at firestone right now getting aligned. That's a relief to hear, I was a little surprised how bad it was post lift/ pre alignment. Can't wait to get it back!

Just picked her up at firestone, they said it came out well! Towed her back to work, can't drive her until 11:00 pm tonight when I get out of work, can't wait! Next, put on my duratracs, and possibly remove running boards. Thank u everyone for input.

not toytec but SS1.2 the new tundra front springs/bilstein's went in easily just pushing down on the uca. now the LC coils in the back,THAT was a struggle!
problem im facing now is finding an alignment shop that will work on lifted cars!
