New C4 gas Tank skid...

So, it just arrived, about 6 weeks after order. Solid as a tank. I have the alum RCIs for the rest, but wanted something thick for the gas tank.

I emailed the folks at C4, but they did not include the mounting bolts. Anyone mount this already and know the specs? I'm inpatient and my just head to HD and do a trial and error tomorrow. A bit annoying, esp after how easy the RCIs were. That said...quality of the build is fantastic.

C4 and RCI gas tank skid plate

If it's anything like the RCI skid, or if it's heavier, this is a tough job. I lifted my RCI gas tank skid at each end with lots of wood blocks until I got it close. Then I lifted it all the way with a floor jack keeping the skid balanced on the cup. It went pretty quick once I figured out the easy way to lift it but it's a hard job while lying under the truck. You don't want to have to do it twice.

The RCI came with all new bolts and 3 metal plate hangers.

There are photos of the install on C4's posts from about 1 or 2 years ago. Look on his profile for all threads he started and you'll find it. That will show you what is needed.
