I just bought 1990 4runner, have some levers and buttons that I have no Idea what 4, can anyone help?

Those are for the flamethrowers and ejector seats.

what is the relise lever 4 to the left of hood relise?

You haven't gassed up your truck yet, have you? That's the release for the locking hatch over the gas cap.

Aha, now I know what else to fix, my fuel tank door opens without relise

What are the other symptoms, describe what "problems" its giving you. Give as many details as possible, help us help you.
Test your battery. Check the grounds for the starter and battery.

You live in Stanton Ca. There is a pick-a-part on beach and ball in your city that always has at least two 2nd gens in it at all times. Also welcome and check out the SoCal section we got a lot of helpful folks there

x2, there's also another on Beach and Katella about a block away

After some deep water adventures every once in a while I have to 'TAP' on my starter to encourage it to work again.
