Don't get me wrong. The Audi is a great driving vehicle. You will enjoy it. I had some quality issues. Perhaps they are resolved in the newer cars.

Well the warranty is good for 5 years, and I will probably sell the car just before the warranty runs out (and buy a 2010 4Runner of course). Anyway from what I can tell the current Audi's are built well, and they seem to use high quality materials. The CVT is nice, but one of the main reasons I wanted a car is for the 5 speed.

Audis (and VWs, for their price) have among the best of the best in terms of initial perceived quality. Everything in their vehicles just feels tight and solid as can be when new. It's more of the fact that they don't age so well. With milage, many, (not all of course) tend to have all sorts of dumb little problems electrical and assembly issues that you just would have never suspected out of such an initially high quality feeling car.

Hey, I had that exact car - in that exact color - 2003 model. I traded it for my 2004 4Runner.

Oh yes. Exhaust, chip, DV, CAI, the works. I also assure you, it will all be tasteful. Mellow, yet powerful is the idea.

I'm no street racer, but I'd bite if there were no cars around. I would only race to maybe 60, none of this 120mph on a street marked 45...

The S4 is in a completely different performance class from the A4, despite the similar number in each of their name's. If he bumps the turbo boost with a chip then that will take care of that. Then again that will also take care of his reliability, too.

ya man i know, but still u can race A4's too, and yea my friend just installed his racing chip, with a turbo timer
