New CB for Gen 1

OK guys I need some of you geniuses help. For the club I ride with I have to have a CB. My Bro-in-law had a Cobra 29ltd that is mounted to this plastic bracket that has the speaker in it and 2 cup holders. It is way wider than my center console. I know this post won't mean much till I get pics up after work just wanted to throw this out there to get ya thinking about possibilities. I'll post pics when I get home. Just want to be able to use the whole thing as I don't have cupholders and they would be nice to have.

Ive got one of these and love it. Its a hand held. Runs off batterys or a Cig lighter. I can take it from 4runner, to my trail rig to a tow rig or just walk around with it. very versatile and works great. Also has a roof mount antenna for when your in the truck.

I have mine on the passenger side floorboard against the transmission. Its a better spot for the larger radios. I currently am using a cobra 29gtl.
Handheld is always an option, however you sacrifice reception.
