new cd player

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I need some help. I'm trying to install my JVC KD-AVX1 but I hooked up all the wires, but I can't hear anything. I don't think anything is wrong with the receiver since I was using it on my Altima, so what can it be? thanks

By the way I have a '99 T4R 2WD Base model

assuming is has power..... yes i bet it does...

are your door wires hooked up right? (EX. white, purple, green,??? dont knw the last) if thats right... well did u take the stock amp out? that was my problem.....

let me think, and let some other input and see what we come up with, BTW nice to have u on the Forum

right underneth the stock radio, it a weird silver box looking thingy, you ahve to remove 2 bolts and it should come right out.... it took me a while and some figureing out why it wouldnt work....... sorry i dont have a picture
