Recently added the Toytec/Eibach 2" front coils to my current mix of chassis parts. Prior to this addition, I was running the Bilstein 5100's up fron at max lift using the OEM coil. In the rear Im running the OME rear coil which I chose the little heavier rated coil and the 5100's. With the this setup the truck was now able to handle the added cargo and passengers on trips but the front struggled to keep up and the handling was not there.
I added the Toytec front coils and yesterday took them out for a quick shakedown. All I can say is WHOLLY COW! As of right now,this truck rides and drives on and off road pretty dam awesome.
On road handling is crisp for a SUV on big tires, YES im not kidding! It handles the pavement excellent,no more whallowing around.
Off road, the ride is slightly firm but articulation front and rear is acceptable. Taking things slow and letting the suspension do its thing is nice. Yes the front is firmer than the OEM springs, but the benefits are well worth it.
Going fast with all the components I have including the new front coils is amazing. Handling is noticeably better. Medium holes and rollers where once I had to slow down alot due to the fronts not being able to handle the terrain is now a thing of the past.
THIS TRUCK IS PERFECT FOR MY STYLE OF OFF ROAD FUN!
Aside from adding some internal valve adjustable shocks, and for off the shelf stuff, this is a pretty good package.
