So, I think I have everything but one plug figured out and got the life of me I can't seem to find what it is or where it goes! I'm thinking maybe it goes to something I don't have and that's why it's dirty? The one I can't figure it out is the top oval shaped one in this pic. But if anyone knows what it is, please tell me! Thanks!

This one is for a VSV. Now i'm not to 22RE knowledgeable but check on top of valve cover or passenger side wheel well for a VSV that's not plugged in.

Thank you! Found it. That was (what I thought) was the very last thing i needed to figure out before i put fluids in and started her up. I purchased a performance engine (block, head, timing) and then replaced most of the other parts, plus resurfaced intake, etc. Also replaced my leaky power steering gear and pump.

Anyway, I made one critical mistake when I didn't spring for a $53 water pump. After 4 gallons of water a steady stream emerged right from the bearing behind the fan. At least I didn't put antifreeze in....

So, now I've got one more job to do before I can fire her up. But at least my wiring and vacuum lines are right (I think). Thank you again!
