New Exhaust Smell Is Awful!

I just installed my thorley cat-back system and the exhaust smells terrible. I know its breaking in but i just thought id tell you all. All my previous vehicals that have gotten exhaust havent smelled nearly as bad as this thorley system, but it must mean its better than the rest lol. I'm getting ready to do the headers next (also by thorley) and it doesnt look fun

if you do replace them, read gadgets write-up about doing it first. Its still gonna be an ugly install but he found some tricks to make it easier.

is there any fiberglass is the exhaust? my muffler was stuffed with it haha and when it burned, damn it was nasty...

I dunno. I dont know ANYTHING about how mufflers and cats work and how theyre made.

As for the smell, If it is a burning smell, probably just a coating they put on some exhaust parts that will burn off. (Most Likely)

If it smells like rotten eggs, might have disturbed the cat while seperating the old exhaust. (Slim chance)

Just wanted to add my thoughts. Keep up the tuning, can't wait to see what you do next.
