I currently have 32 11.50 falken wild peak a/t on my Tacoma. Had them for over 2 years with alot of highway driving. Still alot of tread and look great. Always did me good in mud and light snow. But I would not get them again after a 4' snow run. That much and they turn to snow slicks haha. Was happy till that day. Just got some mastercraft 33 12.50s on my 88 runner for $760 out the door.hoping they are a good tire. Anywho my two cents. Good luck with whatever you go with

Bummer these don't come in a 275/70-17... Starting to feel like the KO2 is the best option in that size, but I am not sure I am in love with them.

I'm in the same spot you are. 275/70R17 looks like it'll be a perfect fit but I either go with the KO2 which I'm not totally sold on or go stock size on these. The pics a few pages back of stock size don't look bad at all though.

I just had a set of A/T3W (stock size 265/70-17) installed on a set of FN F(x) PRO wheels with my current stock suspension. [Dustin @ FN Wheels is great to deal with BTW!]
Ever so slight rub on the front mud flaps when almost fully locked left/right. The Falken's patch profile is a bit more "square" [aka aggressive!] as compared to the roundness of the stock Dunlop AT20's. I did the usual "heat up the plastic" mod to press in the mud flaps in a bit. The mud flaps aren't perfectly seated in to the wheel well and maybe even some double sided tape behind it could pull it away from the tire more. Kind of like they matched up the screw holes for the mud flap but that caused the middle to bulge out a bit into the wheel well.
A heat gun and a spackling knife seems to have worked without having to remove the mudflaps and I assume after a few hundred miles, the "edges" of the tire will wear down a bit and give a little more clearance when turning... until I rotate the tires and have the same issue with the rears until their edges are sufficiently worn down.
So far, impressions of the tire are great. Awesome looking and not that much noise increase over the stock. Noticeable but not annoying but heck, it's an AT tire, not a road tire.

This is my biggest concern as well. I'm not hearing great things about the KO2 in snow. This is coming from a friend with a set mounted up to his Cherokee.

My friend recently put these on her 3rd gen. She got 255/70/16 in a set of 4 from Discount's eBay store, for $430 after a $50 off coupon. She loves them so far and has echoed what others have said here. They look really good in person too.
Did she get them in the P rated or the LT load range E version? I was excited about these but saw that they didn't have any load range C versions in the stock size 265/70/17... :crybaby:

They were the P rated I believe. I can't believe how quite they are being a hybrid AT/MT. I wish they had a better variety of sizes, but for the cost, you simply can't beat these tires.

I purchased a set of these last week. I had every intention of purchasing cooper AT3's but ended up with these instead. $475 (they matched the dt direct ebay price) plus mounting and replacement certificates from discount tire. Always happy there. Only one tank of gas so far but they seem to fit the definition of an all-terrain tire. No complaints. Very quiet, surprisingly aggressive tread design. They have a very square appearance and are slightly wider than the OEM tires. I don't care about looks but they do fill up the wheel wells vs the OEM donuts, almost like they are LT tires. Very little squirm, more responsive over bumps and plenty of grip on off-ramps, etc. Hoping they do well in winter weather and can handle wet grass - two things the OEM tires couldn't do. You can hear them slightly around 40 MPH but there is no resonance or howl - it's more like white noise. My worn out OEM tires were far louder in all conditions. Edit- stock size standard load. They had the E load but I have no need for them.

And folks will want to distinguish which load rating they have of the Falkens when reviewing wet, snow, and mud performance. The load range E has deeper tread than the P version.

Damn, these are good looking tires! I'm curious to hear how they hold up. Pretty much any brand new tire is going to ride nice and feel "better" than what it replaces. I've been also eyeing the Firestone Destination AT simply for their stellar reviews. Looks wise, though, these are killing it.
