Looking at a bunch of 285's, but decided on these based off all the good reviews from you guys. Im liking them in the 100 miles we did today. The only thing I've noticed so far is that they smell different from other new tires, but not that big of deal. Did the fender liner mod and trimmed the fender in the front. 285/70/17 with a daystar 2.5/1.5
I'm not finding these in stock size P load. If anybody has a link, please PM the link to me.

I have these as watched on "my eBay" and it states they are out of stock. Can't get a link to that listing since they are out of stock.
If you're ready to order it might be worth calling discount tire direct or going to a local discount tire store as they will price match their eBay store prices. If out of stock maybe maybe they could order a set for you.

Ha, of course I try to wait till my credit card billing cycle starts over and they sell out before I get there. Son of a *****. Hopefully I can convince Discount Tire to give me the same deal towards the end of the month.

My local dealers don't include falkens in that deal sadly.
On ebay dtd, LT = has LT in the title, SL = No LT in the title.
Examples:
SL = 4 NEW 285/70-17 FALKEN WILDPEAK AT3 285 70R R17 TIRES 26808
LT = 4 NEW LT275/70-18 FALKEN WILDPEAK AT3 70R R18 TIRES 26817

Getting them on tomorrow, 285/70/17. Hopefully they will price match with the $100 off. They quoted $540 mounted last week(with my tade in duarteks). Just cut up my fender/wheel well today and pushed them forward. Removed my front mud flaps but planning on putting them back on after i trim them.

I'm looking at a T4R and want to start with a strong education before I take the plunge. My offroad experience is with a 1990 Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero) TDI and everything I learned about tires seems to be different on the T4R. My biggest question is, why are your tire widths so large in comparison to wheel widths? Most of the tire sites are suggesting an 8" wide wheel to fit even the stock size tire that Toyota mounts on a 7" wheel (5th gen applications). Is this because there is so much flex in the sidewall of modern 4x4 tires?

Mounted! Looks really good, better in person. No rubbing but thats cause i did the fender mod and removed the mud flaps. These are 285/70/17. Stock ride SR5P.
