New FJ wheels with BFG's

Got them installed yesterday. Finally got some better pics to put up. It's gonna look better if I ever get around to putting my Daystar Kit on. But this is definitely an improvement over the stock setup with Dunflops.

p.s. Why the hell is it snowing in October in VA? Could be a rough winter, good thing the BFGs have the snowflake...

Great rim choice man havent seen this rim much on 4Rs, i just put the earlier FJ rims on mine and love it, looks great
 
Man, I love those wheels, in fact, they are the ones I've been looking at myself. Mind if I ask what they set you back? Did you get them from a private seller or the dealer?

Yea man i saw your pics too. Looks good. I was originally looking for a set of those, but I came across these on CL for a good deal, so I couldn't pass them up.

I found them on Craigslist for a great deal. The guy had put on new wheels and tires at the dealership when he bought his FJ, so they were basically brand new. I got all 5, with the OEM Bridgestones still mounted, for $625. He was a real nice dude... I think he just wanted to get them out of his garage.

I love those FJ wheels on our 4th gen runners. Looks sick man!

I just noticed that it's snowing in your pics...I can't wait for the snow to fly this winter! Where are you located and how much for the SE rims?

Yep, I'm outside D.C. We didn't get any real accumulation, but it did snow for a good part of the day last Saturday.

I'm in Virginia, so shipping to WA probably wouldn't be cost effective krup. I'm going to try and sell them local first I think. I haven't figured out how much to ask for them. What do you all think? What's the going rate for a set of 5 2004 SE wheels with TPMS? They're in good shape. I'll take pics and post a classified ad one of these days.

No worries sknsfan, just checking. I've purchased rims on previous cars on eBay and the like and it is friggin' expensive to ship. I'll keep my search around here. You'll definitely find a buyer, I hear people on here all the time asking for them. Make sure to post it into the classifieds on this forum.

Just guessing, I'm sure you could get $450-500 for all 5 rims assuming their in good condition.

Haha. Dude, you have no idea how many times I flip flopped back and forth on the white letters in vs white letters out. I probably spent more time deciding on that, than I spent deciding on which wheels to buy.... it drove me nuts... but I'm pretty happy with my choice so far
 
Lift

Finally got the Daystar 2.5/1.5 on over the weekend. Wasn't too hard, had a couple buddies helping and we took our time. I'll get some better pictures with the camera when I have a chance, but here's a cell phone pic from when we were done. I like the way it sits now.

Next, I have to put the running boards back on so the wifey can stop complaining about having to crawl in.

I don't have any good before / after shots from the same angle, but i'll try and get some
